Lou Fa likes to take her breaks wandering around the Asia Branch. While doing so she meets many people and becomes quite comfortable with her surroundings. However, she sometimes bumps into people she doesn’t quite expect.

Komui hadn’t been around to give him a mission in a while now, that idiot and with the unfortunate company he was forced to deal with, Kanda was a hair away from losing it and mass murdering everyone. Which could be a good or bad thing, depending on who you asked.

That being said, if he couldn’t get a mission in the European branch, he’d decided that he’d just have to get one in the Asian branch. And so he’d sneaked through the ark. The only times he had visited, he’d been escorted for the most part and the place looked different than when he’d first ..awoken. So trying to navigate himself whilst being completely inconspicuous to the best of his ability had gotten him..sort of lost. None of this was apparent on his face however, he continued to wander the halls as if he owned the place.

“Oof,” was all he sputtered out when something collided hard into his chest as he turned the corner, retracting a couple of feet back. Rubbing the spot, he glared at his current obstruction, a small girl who seemed vaguely familiar. “Che, watch where you’re going.” Being confrontational wasn’t the best tactic considering he needed help finding his way around here and he wasn’t supposed to be here in the first place but whatever.

While walking around the emptiest and absolute quietest halls of the order during her wanderings she never expected to bump into someone. But at this moment she found herself looking up at a tall and lean man who looked a bit familiar. Maybe he was a friend of Allen’s… Allen does seem to have a lot of friends… He hit into her rather hard.

“maybe you should look out for yourself, sir.” she tried to act tough but that wasn’t really a good trait for her or a good idea for a man she didn’t particularly know. He could easily clobber her! “I’m sorry but what are you doing here, exactly? Looking for someone or something?”

“…looked as though you were crying when I came in…” Was it really that obvious? The words kept repeating in her head What should I say? What should I do? she thought and wiped her face as much as she could.

“I’m fine, really!” She gave a weak smile and began clearing off the space where the spill happened. Without noticing a couple of tears started slipping down her cheeks.

It was hard to see her face properly as she wiped it, but when she was finished, all he could see was a smile. Perhaps he’d been mistaken about her crying? She turned to the mess and began to clean it herself. Krory stepped forward, thinking to perhaps move whatever had been soaked to the side to allow it to dry, but stopped himself as a tear slid down the cheek he could see from where he stood.

He took a deep breath to steady his resolve and reached a hand out to rest it as lightly as he could on her shoulder, not quite sure if she was the jumpy sort. “Miss, something isn’t fine, though, am I right, de aru? Did someone else make this mess?” He couldn’t see what the cause of her tears were, but if she was crying…

She was startled as a hand lightly rested on her shoulder. She looked up at him and smiled again. Although this time, the smile came off a bit weak, “It was just a spill, really. I’ll be okay. Accidents happen, right? I’m sure the others will understand…” She began cleaning again while doing so she made sure to be very careful in case she messed up anything else, “I just want to clean it up before anyone else notices…”

He knew the feeling, all too well. He almost winced as more than a few memories of the chaos some of his mistakes had caused came to mind, but it wasn’t the time to be thinking of that. He wordlessly reached past her to move the books, taking care not to press too firmly on the soaked pages, though he was wearing his gloves. He moved them over to the next station over, careful to avoid any extra drops of whatever it had been that she had spilled.

“Don’t be too hard on yourself,” he said quietly after he’d set them down, out of the blue. He meant to continue, but it dawned on him that he hadn’t found out her name yet. “Ah… why would the other scientists be upset with you for a simple spill, de aru?” He asked instead, not sure how to best ask her for her name.

She appreciated the help, though she wished he hadn’t met her in the state she was in. She was most likely a wreck! If only there were a mirror around.

“Thank you, sir.” she smiled and cleaned as well. Wiping down the area quickly “Its just… I don’t want them to say, ‘Oh she’s new.’ Or, ‘She’s in training it was bound to happen’” she sighed “You know what I mean? I just want to do something on my own… I hate being so new” She laughed “And all this time I was so excited to get out of my schoolwork. But really, school is one of the easiest things we have to do in life compared to work and the real world.” She scrubbed the table more.

She was so embarrassed that this man had to see her in this situation. She tried to cover up her stomach now that it was sticking out because the acid ripped through it. She approached him shyly “An exorcist? What on earth are you doing here?” she asked and squinted while looking at him… What type of innocence does he have, she wondered.

She looked over at the mess she made “Ah! No there’s nothing you need to do. It’s fine, really! I just need to clean up this mess. That’s all!” She laughed nervously.

He noticed the small movement, then saw the slight flashes of skin. He averted his eyes respectfully, but it occurred to him that the spill must have had something to do with the holes in her clothes, then. He turned his eyes back to her and smiled somewhat wanly, still a bit worried. Accidents in the science department sometimes… had catastrophic effects. Not always, but he could never be too careful. The Order was a lively place, after all.

“I was just passing by,” he answered hesitantly, suddenly wondering if he should not have come in at all. She didn’t sound angry, though, and if anything, her laugh was a bit on edge. “Are you sure, de aru? I haven’t much else to do, and it looked as though you were crying when I came in…” He didn’t know if he should have pointed that out to her, since she was now holding back all her tears, but he wasn’t sure if he should leave her so quickly if she really had been.

Lou was so excited to finally start working hands on! She was mixing some chemicals when suddenly, some of her books collapsed from it’s pile and knocked the chemicals everywhere!

She yelped as it fell on her coat. The chemicals were so strong that it started burning through her clothes and to her skin. She ran right over to the safety shower and pulled the handle. Gallons and gallons of water poured all over her as tears ran down her cheeks.

How could I have been so clumsy?

She cried and dreaded how much trouble she would get in when someone found out her mistake.

Everyone was so busy these days at the Order… No one seemed to have the time to stop and talk with Krory, or to explain to him what all their studying and experimenting was for exactly. Sometimes they didn’t even notice him, other times, he was waved off with an explanation so brief it left him more confused than when he’d walked into the laboratory. Nonetheless, he continued his exploration of Headquarters, curious as to just how expansive this new building was.

One room in particular caught his attention more than any of the others. There was the sound of running water, for one, which was hardly advisable as far as he knew, and it seemed to be the one from which several thuds and crashes had come from. He looked side to side, but no one else seemed too perturbed. He opened the door to the room and looked in.

The girl inside who looked vaguely familiar from behind had her head lowered in shame and seemed to be crying, even as water poured by the gallon onto her head. A workstation looked as though she had occupied it a moment ago, but books were strewn all over and it looked as though something had spilled.

Krory stepped into the room and cleared his throat once before asking her with a bit of a nervous twinge to his voice, “Is everything alright in here, de aru?” He still didn’t quite understand how to best help a crying person, though he’d found that helpfulness was probably best. The only thing was, everyone else seemed much better at that than he was, most of the time.

Lou Fa stood there. She just stood there. The only thing she could think of was her mistake. That she was just a clumsy girl, waiting for mistakes to happen all over her. The place where the chemicals spilled didn’t hurt too much anymore and she could probably step out of the pouring water by now.

But she didn’t. She stood there. I went through all the safety procedure’s multiple times. How could I have still messed something up?

She heard someone in the room and jumped. From the slippery and wet floors she slipped. She moaned and made her way back to her feet.

“Who are you?” He looked familiar. Maybe he was a friend of Allen’s? She sniffed and wiped her eyes.

Krory’s eyes widened in surprise and he stepped forward as she began to fall as she turned, but he couldn’t have moved quickly enough to stop her from falling. And so she slipped, but picked herself right up, and he stopped where he stood, unsure of what to do. She sniffed, but he could tell if she’d really been crying just yet.

At least he could begin with answering her question. “Arystar Krory, one of the Exorcists. I was… just looking around, de aru.” He paused for a moment and quirked his head a bit, watching her with concern. “Is there anything… I could do to help? What happened, de aru?”

She looked at him shocked Am I well-known or something? I could swear I’ve seen him before though. “Yes. Uhm, I don’t really know where I am. Do you know where Allen is?” She laughed “Oh yes, but you get the hang of Asia branch quick enough.”

*was going to his room, but noticed Link with a girl*

Oh what’s this?~ *being all noisy* Spotty-Two who’s this cute little lady?

Wait I minute, met you before…isn’t your name Lou?

She looked at him, How does everyone here know me?! -internal gasp- Has Allen been talking about me? ;////;  “Have we met? I’m sorry I’m really wiped from all my paperwork recently, it seems like that’s all I ever do these days.” She laughed uneasily and sighed.

Yeah we met before. It was awhile back during the whole Noah Ark incident.

No need to apologize. It’s all right. So what brought you here Lou? Looking for Allen-kun? ~ ♥ *tease tease* The Old Geezer mentioned to me the last time you came here… you were looking for Allen.

“Oh right! I’m sorry, I didn’t notice.” She shuffled around, looking at her feet. Wow, all of a sudden they were so interesting.

She blushed “Y-yes! I was looking for Allen” ;/////;
